Am 10. Februar fand in Schwabach die JHV des WED e.V. statt.
Da jeder Worker interessiert auf die kommende und bestimmt äußerst spannende Saison 2018 hin fiebert, möchte ich Euch den Rückblick so wie die Vorausschau exclusiv berichten. Der Verein war und ist in Vielem tätig was oft nicht nach außen dringt. Hinter der Fassade wird geplant, beschlossen und geändert um die Reiterszene voran zu bringen und auf die Wünsche und Bedürfnisse von Mitgliedern und Reitern einzugehen. Sicherlich ist noch nicht Alles perfekt und „in trockenen Tüchern“.
Es gehört eine große Portion Weitsicht, Geduld und Umsicht dazu, die richtigen Wege für die Zukunft einzuschlagen und die Basis für eine gute Zusammenarbeit zu schaffen.
Weitsicht .. die Weichen für eine immer größer werdende Community zu stellen und NICHT durch immer wieder kehrende Veränderungen das Vertrauen der Mitglieder zu verlieren
Geduld .. zu wissen, dass sich NICHT alles so schnell umsetzen läßt, wie man es möchte und die oft aufbrausenden Gemüter zu beruhigen und zu schlichten
Umsicht .. das diese Community nicht allein ist und über die Grenzen hinaus mit Respekt und Achtung genau beobachtet wird und jede Entscheidung eine große Tragweite zeigt.
Und Eines muss man sagen. Dieser Vorstand und sein Team leisten ganze Arbeit. Man blickt auf ein erfolgreiches 2017 zurück mit …
- 13 vom WED geförderten Turniere mit Rindern
- 64 Prüfungen mit 1870 (!) Starts
- Erfolgreiche Teilnahme auf Messen/Veranstaltungen , darunter Pferd International, Faszination Pferd, Equitana und Pferd&Jagd
Richterschulungen von Nicola Danner mit inzwischen steigender Zahl an INTERNATIONALEN Teilnehmern der nachbarschaftlichen Länder. Wobei zu erwähnen gilt, dass Frau Danner diese Schulungen ehrenamtlich durchgeführt hat und dem Verein damit ein großes Geschenk machte.
Dies hat 2 neue Richternennungen hervorgebracht: Birte Ostwald und Gabriele Hey – an dieser Stelle – herzlichen Glückwunsch und viel Erfolg für die Zukunft.. mögen sie immer gerecht im Sinne der Tiere richten!

Geändert hat sich Einiges hier!
Das Reglement wurde überarbeitet, inhaltlich sowie verständlicher im Wortlaut.
Vor Allem in der Rinderarbeit hat es Änderungen gegeben, welche selbstverständlich von den WED zertifizierten Rindertrainern (www.working-equitation-deutschlandev.de/trainer/) vermittelt werden. Details sind auf der Homepage des WED zu finden.
Um es kurz zu nennen:
Rinder werden nur noch durch 1 Reiter eigenständig gearbeitet – hierbei wird das Wohl der Tiere berücksichtigt. Es gibt weniger Stress für die Tiere und ganz klar weniger Ermüdung.
In den Kategorie A Turniere fließt die Rinderarbeit in die Bewertung mit ein.
Neuerdings kann eine Zeitmessanlage beim WED für das Turnier gemietet werden – Mietgebühr und Verfügbarkeit kann über Gernot Weber erfragt werden!
Ebenfalls positiv zu nennen ist, es war noch nie so günstig Mitglied dieses Vereins zu werden wie ab 2018! Durch die steigende Anzahl an Mitgliedern kann der Verein sich erlauben, die Aufnahmegebühr zu erlassen, somit gibt es nur noch den Jahresbeitrag für Erwachsene von 100 EUR / Jugendliche 50 EUR / jedes weitere Familienmitglied 50,00 EUR. Sie erhalten zukünftig einen landesweiten Newsletter und haben regionale Ansprechpartner.
Natürlich durfte die Weltmeisterschaft Working Equitation im Mai 2018 nicht unerwähnt bleiben.
Es wurden namhafte Sponsoren geworben.
Das komplette Team wird z. B. ausgestattet von Cavallo, Samshield-Helm sowie Hauke-Schmidt finest gloves.
Selbst hierbei sieht man, wie dieser Sport an Gewicht gewonnen hat.
Es wird auf dem Messestand die Möglichkeit geben, Merchandising Produkte zu erwerben – UNBEDINGT VORBEISCHAUEN!!!!
Der Bundestrainer Nuno Avelar wird im Rahmen des Max-Benz-Master-Cups in Baldham, 7.-8.April 2018 das endgültige Team für Deutschland bekannt geben, dies wird das letzte Sichtungsturnier vor der WM sein – wir sind gespannt und ich persönlich denke, das sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.
Des Weiteren werden für die Veranstalter diverse organisatorische Punkte eingeführt bezüglich der Ausschreibung, der Einreichung und Veröffentlichung von Ergebnissen – ein WED-zertifiziertes Turnier steht für Qualität, Fairness und Sicherheit – fragen Sie nach, wenn Sie an der Organisation eines Turniers interessiert sind – der WED unterstützt Sie gerne!
Im Gesamten ist für mich zu sagen – hier werden die Ärmel hochgekrempelt und etwas getan für die Working Equitation. Es geht hier immer um die Sache. Mit Enthusiasmus und viel Engagement baut man hier etwas für andere auf – der Vorstand steht „NUR“ vor – der Verein sind SIE !
Zu sehen, wie auf dieser JHV sich Nord und Süd getroffen haben und im Sinne der Reiterei sich freundschaftlich austauschten, wie sich die Reiter des Kaders mit ihrem Trainer unterhalten und fachsimpeln, ohne Konkurrenz, Kontakte geschlossen und Ziele definiert werden, hat mir die Überzeugung gegeben, hier entsteht Etwas, das eine Zukunft hat.
Gestalten Sie diese mit!
Ich habe mich gefreut, dass ich als Working Equitation News dabei sein durfte und bedanke mich bei allen Anwesenden – ihr habt es mir als „Fremde“ leicht gemacht, zwischen Euch zu sein.
ICH werde es begleiten als Veranstalterin zusammen mit Sandra Zels, auf Gut Ising, sowie als Working Equitation News auf diversen Turnieren.

The JHV of the WED e. V. took place in Schwabach on February 10th.
As every worker is looking forward to the upcoming and certainly very exciting season 2018. I would like to tell you about the review as well as the forecast exclusively. The association was and is active in a lot of things which often does not penetrate to the outside. Behind the façade is planned, decided upon and modified in order to promote the equestrian scene and to respond to the wishes and needs of members and riders. Certainly not everything is perfect and „in dry cloths“.
It takes a great deal of foresight, patience and prudence to find the right paths for the future and create the basis for good cooperation.
To set the course for an ever-increasing community and NOT to lose the trust of the members through constant changes.
Patience… to know that it is NOT possible to implement everything as quickly as you want and to calm and settle the often fierce minds.
Cautiousness… that this community is not alone and is observed with respect and esteem beyond the borders and that every decision shows a big implications.
And one thing to say. This board and its team are doing a great job. You can look back on a successful 2017 with…
13 tournaments with cattle sponsored by the WED
64 tests with 1870 (!) starts
Successful participation at trade fairs/events, including Horse International, the fascination of horses, equitana and horse&hunting.
Judges‘ trainings of Nicola Danner with meanwhile increasing number of INTERNATIONAL participants from neighbouring countries. It is worth mentioning that Mrs. Danner held these trainings in an honorary capacity and gave the association a great gift. This has produced 2 new judges: Birte Ostwald and Gabriele Hey – congratulations and good luck for the future… may they always judge justly in the sense of the animals!

Some things have changed here!
The regulations have been revised, in terms of content and comprehensibility.
Especially in the cattle work there have been changes, which will of course be communicated by the WED certified cattle trainers (www.working-equitation-deutschlandev.de/trainer/). Details can be found on the WED homepage.
To put it briefly:
Cattle are only worked independently by 1 rider – the welfare of the animals is taken into account. There is less stress for the animals and clearly less fatigue.
In the category A tournaments, cattle work is included in the evaluation.
Recently, a timekeeping system can be rented at the WED for the tournament – rental fee and availability can be requested from Gernot Weber!
It is also worth mentioning that it has never been so cheap to become a member of this association as it has been since 2018! Due to the increasing number of members, the association can allow itself to waive the admission fee, so there is only the annual fee for adults of 100 EUR / young people 50 EUR / each additional family member 50,00 EUR. In future, you will receive a nationwide newsletter and have regional contacts.
Of course, the World Working Equitation Championship in May 2018 should not go unmentioned.
Well-known sponsors were recruited.
The complete team will be equipped with e. g. Cavallo, Samshield helmet and Hauke-Schmidt finest gloves.
Even here you can see how this sport has gained weight.

The national coach Nuno Avelar will announce the final team for Germany at the Max-Benz Master Cup in Baldham, April 7-8,2018. This will be the last sighting tournament before the World Cup – we are curious and I personally think you shouldn’t miss it.
In addition, the organizers will be introduced to various organizational issues regarding the announcement, submission and publication of results – a WED-certified tournament stands for quality, fairness and safety – ask if you are interested in organizing a tournament – the WED will be happy to support you!
Overall, I have to say that the sleeves are rolled up and something is done for working equitation. This is always about the thing. With enthusiasm and a lot of dedication, you build something for others – the board is „ONLY“ ahead of you – the association is YOU!
To see how North and South met at this YHV and how, in the spirit of horsemanship, the riders of the squad had a friendly exchange with their coach and talked shop, without competition, made contacts and goals.
